“My way into life” ist Lukas erstes Studioalbum in dem er seinen bisherigen musikalischen Lebensweg mit unterschiedlichen Stilistiken und Genres zum Ausdruck bringt: Jazz-Fusion, Funk, Pop und Jazzballaden. Die Lieder enthalten Reharmonisationen und sind mit Elektrosounds unterlegt, die Jazzgrundlage ist trotz aller individuellen Variationen aber unerkenntlich.

Zwei der Stücke sind von Gerd Natschinski (Der Mann, der mir gefällt; Puszta Beat); Lukas hat die Werke seines Vaters neu arrangiert und möchte sie so auch heutigen Generationen näher bringen. Vier Titel sind Adaptionen klassischer Stücke und fünf sind eigene Kompositionen.

"My way into life" is Lukas' first studio album. It expresses his musical development with different styles and genres: jazz fusion, funk, pop and jazz ballads. The titles feature electronic highlights and a broad spectrum of individual variation, but are still firmly and unmistakably rooted in jazz.

Two pieces ("Der Mann, der mir gefällt" and "Puszta Beat") were originally composed by Gerd Natschinski. Lukas has put together new arrangements of his father's work in an effort to express his connection to the pieces in a way that is accessible to his own generation. Four of the titles are adaptations of classic pieces, and the other five are his own compositions.
